Trader Complains After Marketers Reject Old-Notes

  Ebunoluwa Adeyemi A trader, Sade Alade (not real name) has shared her complaints over the rejections of the old notes; a direct opposite of what the Supreme Court ruled on few days ago. The Supreme Court had ordered to spend the old naira notes from the 3rd of March till December 31st, 2023 after the Presidential election had been held on February 25, 2023. Sade, who plies her trade at Sango Otta, having read the announcement made by the Supreme Court, tried to spend the old naira notes but her efforts were futile. She emphasized that people insisted to hear directly from the newly elected President and refused to listen to the announcement made by the Supreme Court. She added that it has affected her because she sells food stuff to people and it was rejected at her supllier’s shop where she wanted to restock goods. Around the 1960s in the west, self-care and self-medication was regarded as unnecessary and potentially even unhealthy pratices. Self medication has traditionally been defined as the taking of drugs, herbs  and home remedies on one's own initiative, or on the advice of another person without consulting a doctor ,, families, friends, neighbors, the pharmacist, previous prescribed drugs or suggestions from an advertisement in newspaper or magazines are common sources of self medication. PDP Protests Against Outcome of Presidential Polls

  Tolulope Salisu The  Peoples Democratic Party (PD P), led by its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, today ,  protested at the INEC Headquarters,  against  the  conduct and outcome of the presidential election. The main opposition party, had on Friday, rejected declaration of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, as President-elect by the electoral commission. It  asked that INEC  immediately withdraw s  the Certificate of Return issued to the former Lagos State Governor  and announced winner of the 2023 Presidential election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu  and cancel the poll in line deference to Section 65 of the Electoral Act 2022. The party insisted that the electoral body, in declaring the APC candidate as winner of contest,   contradicted the con stitution ,  guidelines and regulations for conduct of the 2023 presidential election. He was received by a mammoth crowd of party members at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja. The former Lagos State governor, according to a statement issued by his media aide, Tunde Rahman, was received at the airport by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde; former Deputy Governor in the state, Femi Pedro, former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro; former Commissioner for Environment in Lagos, Muiz Banire, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Woman Leader in the state, Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, among others.   Victoria Oboh Finally the day came, 25th of February 2023 Nigeria  took the decision  by casting their vote for candidate of their choice at different polling unit national wide. Frustrated Nigerians pointed issues on fuel scarcity, scarcity of the newly redesigned notes which has caused an upheaval in the country which prompted voters  ( Nigerians) to cast their vot e   and decide for  leaders of the  new government,  the  new Nigeria. He attained this record to overtake Robbie Fowler as the Reds’ all-time highest Premier League goa    scorer against rivals Manchester United. Liverpool trash Manchester United 7-0 in a match many described as unbelievable. It was gathered that, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp disclosed the defeat as part of football, describing it as an amazing match played. The Egyptian scored Liverpool’s fourth goal in the Sunday match against Manchester United to attain his brace and penned his name in the history of EPL. The brace means Salah has  netted 129 top-flight goals for the club, attained this achievement in just 203 matches.
